This lecture analyses the regional and international consequences of the conflicts in Gaza and Lebanon, highlighting its ramifications beyond the local arena. In addition to the war’s immediate humanitarian crisis, civilian casualties, displacement, and infrastructure devastation, the lecture explores how the conflict has influenced neighboring countries in the Middle East, exacerbating existing tensions and affecting regional stability. It also analyzes its global impact within the context of great power competition, and the erosion of international order and norms.
